I really love the way textured hair looks, it kind of reminds me of the 80′s and we all know how much I LOVE LOVE LOVE the 80′s. I was digging through my moms closet the other day to find old pieces that I could re-vamp and wear but she threw out all the good stuff! Im soo keeping all my clothes that I wear right now.. knowing fashion, all the stuff that was in 2 years ago and is out of style now, will be in style when my kids are older (if i have kids! hehehe).

If you don’t have a crimper at home, you can grab one from Walmart they’re pretty cheap there.. I dont think you should go out and spend a lot of money on a crimper, since it’s not something that you’ll be using everyday. The great thing about crimped hair is that it gives you a lot of volume and the style lasts for a really long time. The even better part about it is that when the crimp starts falling out, your hair gets this really pretty wave to it

If you don’t want to go out and buy a crimper, you can achieve this look by braiding your hair when its wet and sleeping on it over night heres a tip though, if you want the crimp from the root, braid your hair in a french braid
