Rosewater is super simple to make at home! I’ve had a lot of questions from people asking why I don’t buy the one from the store instead of making my own.. well.. I have a few reasons for that.. 1. sometimes the ones from the store contain preservatives to keep the rosewater from going bad, so I don’t want to put that in my hair, and 2. it’s so easy to make and I have an excuses to get myself roses.. why not! LOL.. really though, its mostly about what goes in it and I feel more comfortable knowing that it’s 100% naturally made by me 
so for this, you need either damask roses, or red strong smelling roses… preferably ones that are organic since they’ll be pesticide free
Keep in mind that in the video, I only used 2 roses. If you want to make a really large batch then you can use majority of your dozen roses AND use a bigger pot lol with more water.

What healthy/natural preservative do u recommend if I want to keep it longer? Also, can I add aloe gel or juice? Do blonds use yellow roses? Can other types of flowers be used instead of roses for the same or similar results? and, finally, can I use another type of oil?
oooh ooh ooh, one last question: I don’t like castor oil, can u recommend an oil that is very similar?

Hello! I love this video! I actually buy rosewater from the Heritage line and use it on my face as a moisturizer and it does wonders!! With this video, I can make my own rosewater now and use it for both my skin and hair. Looking forward to adding some more extra care for my hair. Btw, how long would the pot of rosewater last in the refrigerator?
I also have another question relating to your other videos. You said that you wash your hair every other day. So do you use the rosewater on the days you wash your hair or when you don’t? Also, I usually take a shower at night, so would it be better to do it right after a shower when I put on the leave in conditioner or during the nights when I don’t put the conditioner on? Hi, I would also like to know if we can use roses of any other colour? Also it is not very easy to get organic roses that have a fair amount of fragrance to them, usually the roses here are available in the form of big blooms with extremely light fragrance, so will these do? I love your video, but I have a question, in other videos I seen that people use the vapor of the roses, and a melting ice technique to make rose water… their water also turns out clear looking and not pink.
I followed your video and my water smells like veggies? lol. I used regular roses as oppossed to organic, does that make a difference!?

I just bought rose water in an Indian store. I asked the person if it has preservatives. He said no. But, should I make my own instead?
if there aren’t any preservatives in it the you should be fine with using the store bought one

so I have been losing a lot of my hair. If I sit down somewhere and get up…I can see my hair on the seat. I have lost 70% of my hair but most of that is because I blow dried and straightened my hair without using any heat protection. Also, I have been trying to find the RUSK leave in conditioner in the stores in US…I cannot find it. Do you know where I can buy it from? I am Indian so I am assuming the same conditioner would work well on my hair too.

Hi sissy! the method is kinda easy for making rose water but the problem is the distilled water. where can i get distilled water from?
Once again sissy! I wanna know what if i use the same amount of water that u were using in the video but i put more of rose petal in it. will it still be ok?
When making the Rosewater, do you NEED to add the Almond Oil? Or was that an extra ingredient you decided to throw in? Lovely video’s by the way

I have been watching several of your videos and I have some questions in regards to the order of stuff:
1) how often do you use the almond oil? I watched your almond oil and peppermint oil video it is the same regimen?
2) with the conditioner do you still use the almond oil? How long or how many days after do you use the almond oil and the rusk?
3) Where does the rose water fit into this plan? Use the rose water every day or every other day?
4) the vinegar rinse, where does that fit in as well and how often?
I have thick, curly hair, that I used to do the keratin treatment but I am growing it out. Most of it is out and I recently texturized my hair just to control the “new growth’. My hair is not as curly as it use to be and it is probably just above my bra strap in my back for length. Yes I def flat iron it and cirl it. My poor hair!!

Well i must tell you have real beautiful hair and you have done real hard work to maintain it.I really had long thick shiny hair…then in time it started to fall and now i ahve dandruff which dsnt leave even after tryng so much products.Now am into natural stuffs..if you could pls tell me some methods by which i could get my beautiful hair back.I do want long and strong hair pls do reply

I have a couple of questions about you hair care… so I’m going natural and i love to watch a lot of you-tube videos to see what I can do to make my hair grow long, healthy and fast. I found your channel to be the most helpful. I see that you have a lot of different washes and things that you leave in your hair or that you do during the week, and I just wanted to know what order to you do all these things to your hair threw out the week? also when you do the rose water, almond oil, and apple cider vinegar mask or rinses do you wash your hair with shampoo and condition after you’ve had it in or do you just rinse your hair?
I tried this with white roses from my grandmas garden, but it smells like corn and its yellow, im afraid to put it in my hair hahah

Hello sweety!!, Im really saved by all your videos about : make up, hair, and skin care remedies, we actually in Morocco use a lot of rosewater, for skin and for hair,as well for some kind of healthy drink tea fusion remedies, I have a question; is it possible to use these roswater as a toner for facial skin either?, because I used use a pure Moroccan rosewater,that being prepared over there with a tradtional hadycraft methode and with different type of roses,but since I runn out ,and I’ve checked online, OHHHHHHH!! gash!!,crazy expensive to afford as a keeping up product for a long life care routine.So I was wondering if it can be used for face too as a toner or even make up remover,thx a lot.much love….:)

hi farrah i’ve been using some of your diy remedies like the peppermint and almond oil treatment it is the best!! well when i went to the store to buy peppermint oil the store had rose water toner….in the ingredients it was alcohol free it was undistilled water but when you said you can buy rose water at the store was it the “rose water toner” you were talking about?

I want to say that I adore you. I NEVER wear makeup, so my self esteem about my face comes from my natural beauty (everyone has some) and all natural, easy, homemade remedies. I constantly use the turmuric mask, and not a day has gone by where I dont sleep at night without a dab of vaseline on my eyelashes. I have been begging my mom for vitamin e oil and evening primrose oil.
I really like your you tube videos. And when you replied to my comment/question on Instagram I almost had a heart attack! And the best thing is your kindness. You are so exactly like me in the fact that you get easily distracted, you like to laugh and be silly, and you are very connected to your culture. (I love being indian
