Hey Guys!!!

This was a super super requested video, especially by my beautiful sister Nancy! She gave me this wonderful idea about showing you guys how to properly wash your hair! So thank you honey I love you!!

I have to admit, filming this at first was a little uneasy because I really really didnt want to be on youtube in a bikini because someeee people might come on my channel and get the wrong idea.. so.. t-shirt did the trick for me! haha

I know you must be wondering, “really, Farah, youre going to teach us how to wash hair which is so basic!!” but honestly, a lot of the damage that happens to our hair happens in the shower! When you dont shampoo your hair properly, you’re not making the best of your shampoo, meaning you could use less shampoo that you are now, and you could be rubbing your scalp really rough which could lead to hair breakage and fall out!

It is important to properly soak your hair, regardless of if you have almond oil in it or not. I get a lot of people telling me that they find the almond oil hard to wash out, and thats because you’re not letting it melt off with warm water first! thats the trick! So soak your hair in some water and then youre ready to shampoo.

Once you are ready to shampoo, to make the MOST of your shampoo and use less product, you have to first get the shampoo all over your hands and then rub your hands all over your hair to distribute the product. Once you get the product everywhere, you want to gently massage your scalp with the balls of your fingers. Give yourself a nice relaxing massage for a minute or two… you deserve it!! Once youre done with your scalp you can move to the midshaft and ends.

When you’re washing the shampoo out, its important to let the water do most of the work. You can use your hands to gently remove the shampoo but honestly its not necessary. Let the water do the work and give your scalp a break from the “massage”.
