This video is kind of a long video haha sorry.. my husband wasn’t home so I had the chance to do an actual talking video and just like normal, I just blabbed on! Hope you dont get sick of me haha
I got a lot of requests to show you guys how to use hot rollers, so here it is!!! I Love big curly hair in the holiday season!! This hair is PERFECT for anyone who’s going to holiday parties or even new years eve! What are your plans for New Years?
The rollers that I am using are the Babyliss Professional Electric Roller.. these are my favvv rolls because they give such an amazing long lasting curl, and they also have little “teeth” on them to grip your hair which makes rolling super easy. If you dont have this roller set, dont worry, any hot roller set will work with my technique.
The 3 products I used in this video are: Aveda Confixor Liquid Gel, KMS Free Shape and Aussie Mega Hairspray.
Remember, the less product, the better. Product weighs your hair down, thats why I dont like to put oils and lots of hairspray into my hair when Im using hot rollers.
I got my rollers at a beauty supply store, but Im sure you can find them on Amazon for much much cheaper!

hey farah thanks for making this video. i have same hot roller. but last time i tired did not work well, so how long do u have heat up the roller before you use it. ? and how long do you keep in your hair time plz? and i have some layers in front rest of the hair is same length do you think i will get alot volume as well in my hair . my hair is very think .thanks
Hi hunnie! usually it takes about 10-15 minutes for the rollers to heat up. If you have the same ones then I usually keep it on “standby” instead of putting it on “in-use” whenever Im using them. I keep the rollers in my hair for about 30 minutes while im doing my make up to make sure that they have cooled completely
If you have some layers in the front of your hair then yes you will also get volume, but the more layers you have the more body and movement you get

Hey Farah – when you put the rollers in your hair were the rollers hot? If yes, then how hot were they and do they not hurt your fingers when you’re putting them in if they’re hot?
Also, I’ve looked everywhere for the Matrix Biolage shampoo you recommended in another video – the one without parabens and sulphates and all the baddies – but i couldn’t find it in any salon – i must’ve gone to atleast 6 or 7 salons near my house in the US looking for it.
Have to say you’re hair looks a lot better since that day when you had the bad haircut – it looks like it has grown a lot. Hair normally grows half an inch a month but your hair seems to have defied all laws of nature!!

Hi darling! Yes the rollers were pretty hot .. not enough to burn my fingers or anything.. but if ikept my finger in one spot for a long period of time then yes it would be pretty hot.. but honestly its way cooler than a flat iron.. i cant give a temperature but assume using hot water in the shower and then turning it up just a litle bit where it gives you a little sting but not a burn.. its like that haha i duno if that description was good but i tried

I’ve been doing a bit of research online lately and found stuff about egg whites and old fashioned oats being good, so I was going to try making a mask with those – but putting raw egg on my face is a bit yuck lol so thats why I’ve been holding off on it lol. After reading Sneha’s comment, I just realised that if there was anyone that would know any treatments it would be you – don’t know why I didn’t think to ask you!

Hi doll! for some reason I dunno why my reply isnt showing up to you! thank you so much! those are great ways to treat pores.. but just like you i think egg white on the face is kind gross haha.. but have you tried mashed papaya or tomato? Just apply it to your face after cleansing with a cotton pad EVERYDAY and wash it off
youll notice your pores shrinking! xoxo
Hey doll! yesssssss I find the best way to reduce your pores is to use a tomato as a toner! either that or mashed papaya
they both work great.. apply it to your face with a cotton pad for about 20 minutes then wash it off everyday and youll notice a difference

Also I was trying to get the multivitamin that u mentioned in the video, but wasnt able to lay my hands on it. Can you tell me from where I can purchase those and how the dose to having the same.

Honestly, it all starts with your cleanser and toner! theres this Cleanser by Origins called Checks and Balances.. it works WONDERS! i used to have the same issues as you as I also have combination skin and it completely balanced my skin out! try it out! As far as your hair, are you takin the proper vitamins and eating right? as well as trying any of my treatments like oiling or removing buildup? that can cause hairfall! As far as multivitamins go, you can take any multivitamin.. ive actually started taking another one so go to a health food store and have them recommend one that they think is best suited for you
The one that im using right now is by Nutrilite and its their daily multivitamin Progressive Nutrition also has one of the best multivitamins

Hi sweetheart! Can I use white vinegar instead of Apple Cider Vinegar to remove product build up in my hair, another thing can I use this treatment but instead of almond oil vitamin E OIL and can I use this mixture also on my knees and elbows it will take 2 to 3 weeks to see the difference .

I just realized that you should check out the shampoo and conditionier I’m using because they have Rosemary and mint in them and they’re all natural with no sulfates and things that damage your hair and since I’ve been using them and your almond oil hair treatment my hair has been going like craaaaaaaazy
They’re from l’Oreal, I use the EverForce ones, I dunno if they have them where you are but they sell them in Canada! Anyways, just wanted to let you know I LOVE your videos, I honestly watch everyone of them you’re just my favorite beauty guru haha!
