It has been a long long time since I’ve made a video or a blog post!
As most of you know, I’m getting married! Little did I know that it would be happening sooner than I thought.. in October! So I’ve been scrambling trying to plan the wedding and organize things, dress shopping, colors, center pieces, dj’s etc etc. I haveta admit, the cake tasting is the best part! ha ha ha! So thats the reason why I’ve been away for so long! I’m gonna try my best to update my blog and my channel as much as I can, and maybe film my journey of wedding planning! Would you guys be interested in seeing something like that?
Anyone wanna plan my wedding for me? .. Ill jus do the cake tasting! muuahaha
Anyways, let me get back to what this blog post is really about! LASHES!
I always get asked, how are your lashes so long? How do you keep them thick? How do you keep them healthy and keep them from falling out? Well..I was blessed with long lashes, BUT I also have a trick that my mom taught me when I was younger to maintain them, keep em healthy, long and strong! … VASELINE! aka Petroleum Jelly!
At night, before I go to bed, I take some Vaseline and I rub it at the base of my lashline, as well as on my lashes and lower lashes. For some extra goodness, it’s good to apply some in the outer corners of your eyes as well (As we age, we start to get crows feet there, and vaseline is a great way to keep the skin soft and moisturized, and in the long run, prevent nasty crows feet!)
I also like to take whats left over and go around the orbital bone to keep my eye area nice and moisturized.. trust me.. vaseline is way better than those really expensive eye creams that we spend so much money on.
Also, if you feel like you’ve over plucked your eyebrows and want them to grow in, rub the extra vaseline in your eyebrow area and that’ll help stimulate the growth there as well 
NOW YOU MAY BE WONDERING.. VASELINE? DOES IT REALLY WORK?
It depends on each individual. For some, you might see thicker, longer lashes, overnight. For others, it might take a month.. and for some it might not grow your lashes at all. HOWEVER.. even if it doesnt GROW your lashes, itll keep them healthy, strong and moisturized.. so its a win, win!
All these lash growth serums that are on the market and jam packed with chemicals and nutrients to moisturize your lashes anyways, so why spend so much money on those when Vaseline provides the same moisture and care?
Try it out for yourself! I can honestly say that I have been using this trick since I was a kid and I will NEVER stop! I notice a lot less fallout of my lashes as well!
PS. Try not to get it in your eyes.. You will blur ur vision and it gets annoying!

totally going to try this trick! my mom is blessed with long lashes and sadly i have very short lashes lol Iv tried your haldi facial and loved it I try to do it almost every week and it has really made a difference thankss!

I actually use vaseline as an eye make up remover. It’s inexpensive, gentle, and it works better than most commercial eye make up removers – at least, it does for me. But I’ve never tried any of this! I’ve put vaseline on the ends of my eyelashes to catch the light and make them appear longer, and I’ve used it on my brows. I’ll have to add this to my beauty regimen. (:

Hey Farah, sweet tip!
I always use olive oil to remove my make up (works awesome) and I wonder if that can have the same effect as the vaseline? I like to use natural products

Today is the first time that I have come upon you & your tutorials…they are great. I’m writing to you because about 5 hours ago, I watched the tutorial on growing your eyelashes. I took an hour long bath @ 6:47, then did what you suggested on your video….it’s now 11:34 & my lashes have grown! I am not kidding around, it’s a little freaky…btw only my right side eyelashes are growing @ this fast rate…this is crazy! Infact i am a bit depressed since i got my hair cut and it turned to be catastrophe… The hairdresser didnt understand what i meant and i had so beautiful hair just as you and long too. Now i want my hair to grow fast as i dont like my new haircut . i watched your tutorial for fast growing hair and i hope it will be useful to me … i will try the almond oil , rose water also. Please check into Un-petroleum products!!! vasaline/petroleum jelly can be harmful to your health. Gasoline is derived from Petroleum Jelly. Gasoline is just the liquid form!!! I know it may not seem like it, so please do research !!!!!! Alba has an Un-petroleum jelly that we all can use and accomplish what Farah has so kindly shared with us. No need to make any unnecessary burdens on ourselves with putting poison on our skin. people are sick enough and we dont need to visit the hospital more than whats necessary!!! Take care and educated yourselves with what little information we do have available about whats in what.

I’m wondering, have you had this happen to you better, and if so how have you prevented it from happening again or is it just something that might time and time again happen? Anything else that could moisturize and got give styes?

Did you have short lashes before you started applying vasaline, and then saw much improvement later on? or did you already have really long eyelashes when you first applied it, and then noticed that you just had less lash fallout?

(.. I have these kinda pimple under my arms.. I wax and shave and sometimes just trim but its never went away.. Its like ingrown hair, but its left marks with it that I hate! najeeba, more than likely you’re sensitive/allergic to antiperspirant deodorants. try using a deordorant without aluminum…that’s what usual cause abnormal lumps and darker skin in under the armpits.
aluminum is a neurotoxin is not meant to be absorbed by the body. you can try going to a health food store and buy one or go hunting for a DIY recipe that fits you. i use 1 part baking soda 1 part cornstarch with a few drops of tea tree oil.
plus you should exfoliate with a body scrub, it will help alot.
